Rabbi Jodie Futornick was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1989. She is currently a staff chaplain at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle Washington, where she specializes in cardiac pastoral care and bioethics. She is also an active member of Congregation Beth Shalom in Seattle. In her spare time, Jodie is an avid reader of American history. A long time ago in college, she was an English Literature major.
