Barrie is a certified childbirth educator, birth doula, Birthing From Within Mentor, and former middle school teacher. She started learning about great stories and storytelling as a way to speak to parents about the rite of passage that is parenthood. Along the way she became interested in finding great stories from her own Jewish cultural background. She has discovered that through this process, she also found an avenue of ancestral connection and a way to connect with others regarding the many common themes of human life.
